I help students at Mt. Ararat High School learn Science. In addition to my role in the classroom, I am an advisor to a group of student in the Class of 2015, and I am the Science Department Head. I also teach Advanced Placement (AP) Biology and Human Anatomy & Physiology.
Outside of school I enjoying spending time with my family and hiking. I tweet @woodsidebiology and my thoughts are my own and may not reflect the views of my school or district.

I joined the AMTA. I was wondering where I could find the rules for the Game of Science and also where I find the BCI.
The game of science is a series of games with boards and moves list but no rules, the kids need to determine the rules and how you win for each game. BCI should be on the AMTA website (you’ll probably need to log in). Mine in on the flash Drive that I. Got at the workshop.
So there is no right or wrong way to solve the games? Thanks for the info on the BCI
Sorry for the delay Natasha. There are rules and ways to win for the games, but I’m not sure if they are published anywhere. After working through each of them once, I was able to come away with enough of an idea to use them in class. The one with the red and blue pens and the boxes (I do not have them in front of me at the moment) is definitely the hardest one and I do not use that one in class. The students struggle sometimes with the horizontal and vertical sticks until they figure out that the sticks do not belong to a specific person.
